US doorknocker 50 Cent has promised to reinvent the roulette wheel on his new studio album, which is expected before 2009.
The rapper, wHO released his last studio project Curtis in 2007, said he would one time again challenge the rap genre on Before I Self-Destruct.
[Other rappers] can take what Ive done for the last five long time and do their interlingual rendition of it and be successful with momentum, he told Rolling Stone. Meanwhile, I have to reinvent the wheel.
He added that he wasnt listening to whatever other music at the moment because his own record was his top priority.
Im not really listening to anyone elses record. Now Im in another space where I gotta make what Im activated about, he said.
50 Cents last album lost out on the number 1 spot later a high profile chart battle with Kanye West, who has also confirmed plans to release his next record book before 2009.
